Evelyn Zawedde

Evelyn Zawedde is a Senior Associate in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure department at Ortus Advocates, practicing in Energy Law. She has seven years’ experience in structuring, negotiation, and documentation of natural resource projects and related financings.

Ms. Zawedde has a wealth of experience in handling conveyancing matters, including conducting negotiations, preparing contracts, and closing real estate transactions. She has acted for several clients in acquisitions of property for project development and developing transaction completion documents.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Uganda Christian University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya Law School. She is an Advocate of the High Court of both Uganda and Kenya and all courts subordinate thereto, and is a member of the Uganda Law Society, Kenya Law Society, and the East African Law Society.
