Rebecca Proscovia Nambi

Rebecca Proscovia Nambi is a Partner in the Tax practice, and a lawyer and experienced tax advisor with over 21 years of experience. Her primary practice area is Tax Advisory Law.

She has previously worked with Deloitte Uganda, Deloitte Kenya and Deloitte United Kingdom, where she led and managed multiple tax engagements. She provides comprehensive tax and legal services to assist clients in creating value through cost and risk management.

She advises clients on the tax implications of their business structures and transactions, as well as their compliance and reporting responsibilities. She also assists clients to understand and resolve complex disputes with revenue taxing authorities, including pre-audit procedures and dispute prevention, tax audits and assessments, and dispute resolution and settlement.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, and an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from CIOT (UK). She also holds a MOOC Oil & Gas Certificate from IFP School, France, sponsored by Total, a Certificate in Oil & Gas Contracting from the International Law Institute, Kampala, and is pursuing a Master of Laws in Oil & Gas (Research level) at Uganda Christian University / Institute of Petroleum Studies. She has also completed ACCA.
