Joseph Luswata

Joseph Luswata is a Partner at S&L Advocates, specialising in commercial dispute resolution, banking and finance litigation, and tax disputes. He acts for commercial banks on contentious and non‑contentious banking mandates, including high‑level matters dealing with financial institutions' regulation, and represents two of Uganda’s leading downstream petroleum companies as well as several other local and multinational entities.

He has appeared before the Tax Appeals Tribunal and the Commercial Court in significant tax matters, and has a strong track record in high‑value commercial disputes.
