Birungi Kaburara-Mugisha

Birungi Kaburara-Mugisha is a Partner in the Corporate & Financial Advisory practice and also serves as the firm's Chief Operating Officer, with over 15 years of experience. Her primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions.

She brings cross-border expertise in corporate advisory, specialising in corporate reorganisations and transaction structuring. She manages due diligence, drafts and negotiates key transaction documents, and oversees mergers and acquisitions, including post-acquisition advisory.

Her experience extends to private and venture capital transactions, where she supports founders in launching emerging companies and guides investors in funding early and growth-stage ventures. She also advises on a range of financing transactions, representing both borrowers and lenders, from local deals to complex cross-border syndicated facilities and project financing. Her proficiency in financing dovetails with her corporate practice, ensuring a cohesive approach to her clients' needs across a range of industries.
