Ssekandi Gonzagga

Ssekandi Gonzagga is an Associate in the firm's Dispute Resolution practice, with over 6 years' experience specializing in commercial dispute resolution, election petitions, land transactions, criminal law, transport and logistics, general corporate commercial law, taxation, and banking and finance law.

Prior to joining Ortus Advocates, Gonzagga worked with ENSafrica Advocates and OSH Advocates, where he was responsible for handling and advising clients on their commercial, corporate, and regulatory disputes across various sectors including energy and natural resources, infrastructure and construction, telecommunications, banking, and insurance. He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and has successfully defended clients in election petitions.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy from Justice Advocacy Africa.
