Peter C.R. Kabatsi is a Senior Partner at Kampala Associated Advocates, where he jointly heads the Litigation Department. He also served as Director of Public Prosecutions (1986‑1990) and as Principal Crown Counsel in the Kingdom of Lesotho. He is an ad hoc Judge of the Permanent Court of Arbitration and is on the List of Counsel eligible to practice before the International Criminal Court. He served as President of the United Nations International Law Commission (2001‑2002), Vice President (1996‑1997), and General Rapporteur (1994‑1995).
