Ali Katumba

Ali Katumba is an Advocate and Associate at the firm, based in Kampala. He is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature in Rwanda and a member of the firm's Transaction Advisory Department. His practice focuses on Corporate Law.

Ali has wide and vast knowledge and skills in handling detailed legal research, drafting and negotiating complex agreements and transactions, including security documentation and credit agreements for financial institutions, shareholding agreements, conveyancing and joint ventures.

He equally has extensive experience and knowledge in handling litigation and secretarial matters of companies, associations, trusts and credit schemes. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Islamic University of Uganda and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development of Rwanda, with over 3 years of experience.
