Victor Andrew Taremwa

Victor Andrew Taremwa is a Legal Assistant at K&K Advocates, based in Uganda. He joined the firm upon completion of his postgraduate clerkship training at K&K. His practice focuses on Legal Advisory.

He is a member of both the Litigation and Transactions teams and supports the teams in Intellectual Property Law, Public Law, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Property Law, and Technology, Media and Telecommunications.

Victor handles the preparation of legal opinions and briefs, corporate due diligence, contractual review, and advisory on regulatory and compliance matters. He has contributed legal research on a range of issues, providing critical support to the litigation team on matters that have been successfully argued at multiple levels of the Ugandan judiciary, including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. His areas of expertise include legal research, regulatory analysis, due diligence and advisory support.

Outside the office, Victor is a sports enthusiast and also enjoys photography, creative writing, poetry and other works of literature.
