Patricia Akello

Patricia Akello is a Junior Associate in the firm's Corporate Law and Financial Advisory practice. She routinely advises domestic and international clients across sectors including private equity, FMCG, insurance, fintech, and non-governmental organisations on matters including corporate governance, regulatory licensing and compliance, conducting legal due diligence, and routine corporate filings.

She supports in compliance advisory, setting up corporate vehicles, drafting and reviewing corporate transactional documents (including share purchase agreements, tenancy agreements, and employment agreements). She has experience in conducting due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, property law, and insolvency including receiverships and liquidations, and provides company secretarial support services to several entities focusing on corporate governance.

Patricia holds an LLB (Honours) from Makerere University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM).
